R4 SDHC
This another version of R4 DS which has features that are similar to R4 DS except for its feature to work with micro SDHC cards. Moreover, this flashcard is ready to accept a card with up to 32GB. This might be a bit slower than R4 DS but it still has a boot up time that is quick enough.
R4i SDHC and R4i SDHC 3DS Card
The R4i SDHC is the first flashcard distributed to the market under the R4 brand. The card was developed by the team behind R4i-SDH. It works with Nintendo DSi and is backwards compatible with DS and DS Lite. R4i SDHC 1.4.1 works well with DSI v.1.4.1/v1.4.4 consoles, and DSi XL console. R4i SDHC 3DS is compatible with several game consoles including Nintendo 3DS, DSi, DS Lite, DSi XL and NDS.
R4i Gold & R4i 3DS Card
R4i Gold is compatible with DSi v1.4.2 or v.1.4.2.consoles as well as DSi XL game console. The 3DS card is compatible with Nintendo DSi XL, 3DS, DS Lite and NDS. Its official website is found at r4ids.cn.

R4 DS - the History
The R4 DS card is the most popular Nintendo DS R4 cards sold on the market. It is one of the highly favored R4 3DS cards, which comes second after Wood R4 kernel. It can play music and videos even when you use Nintendo DS. It also works well micro SD card that has a capacity of 2GB but it does not support micro SDHC card. If you use a card with 2GB, this is already more than enough for most users. Another minor limitation though is that the R4 DS Card does not work with DSiXL and DSi.
